Conference registration is now open through September 15th. Please read through the form carefully, as there are some new items this year. We are very pleased to offer the same rates as 2016 and look forward to welcoming you to the 48th annual ACVO Conference.
General Conference Registration includes: Proceedings Book or USB Drive, CE certificate (15-20 hours), participation in the Welcome Reception, Friday ACVO Reception - also celebrating our 10th anniversary of the National Service Animal event, access to all General Sessions and topic-specific sessions, access to the Exhibit Hall, breakfasts and breaks. Online access to presentations for three months post-conference.
Wednesday – ACVO Welcome Reception & Exhibit Show Launch: Join us from 6 – 8pm on Wednesday to launch the opening of the ACVO’s 48th annual conference. Mingle with over 500 of your colleagues, 40-50 exhibitor companies, and enjoy some complimentary food and drinks. All registered attendees and guests may attend at no extra fee, additional tickets may be purchased through the registration form or via email to the ACVO office if you have already registered. You must sign in first to receive your name badge, this is your pass to access the hall…so please allow time to register before meeting people at this event. Registration will be open at 5pm. (Children under the age of 5 are allowed without a ticket.)
Friday – 10th Anniversary Service Animal Celebration/Reception: We cordially invite you to enjoy a new format for Friday night. The ACVO Planning Committee will change things up a bit to offer a complimentary reception Friday evening, to be hosted prior to the VAF auction reception that evening (beginning at 7pm), instead of a dinner event. This will allow time to mingle, and also meet up with friends for dinner that night or give you time to support the VAF.
The time and exact format are still being worked out but we know the following for sure:
- All general meeting registrants and registered guests, will be invited to attend this reception for no cost. Light snacks and either a hosted bar or free drink ticket will be available. Please mark your intent to attend on the registration form.
- Additional tickets can be purchased for non-registered guests on the registration form for $25 each.
- The timeline will likely be 5/5:30 – 6:30/7, allowing you time to freshen up after the general session, drop in for a drink, and head out to the VAF auction which is being held nearby.
- No travel will be required, the event will be held in the host hotel.
We are looking at developing a fun, casual program revolving around a 10th anniversary celebration of the ACVO/Stokes Service Animal Event. This is open to all registered attendees, not only those doctors who were able to participate. We are looking to organize Service Animal teams to mingle with guests and be available for questions and promote their charities, thank and provide a little slide show from these SA teams, award the SA video winners… and have a little fun. (Children under the age of 5 are allowed without a ticket.)
Don’t forget to select the option on your reg form!
