Dr. Hollingsworth received his B.S. in Biology in 1976 and his D.V.M. in 1980 from Purdue University. After nine years in private practice, he completed a residency in comparative ophthalmology at the University of California-Davis in 1992, where he has been on the faculty since 1994. Dr. Hollingsworth has served as a reviewer for a number of professional journals including the American Journal of Veterinary Research, Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia, Veterinary Surgery and Veterinary Ophthalmology. He is currently chair of the Examination Committee of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists.
